Vehicle Description The Fat Boy is a V-twin Softail cruiser with solid disc wheels that was designed by Willie G.
and Louie Nets for Harley Davidson.
Prototypes were released at Daytona Bike Week in both 1988 and 1989 and it was finally put into production and released as a 1990 model.
The name derives from the fact that it is wider than most bikes when viewed head on.
In 2000 a new 88 Twin Cam engine was used which required some minor changes to be made to the frame.
For its 15th Anniversary a CVO Fat Boy was released with a 103 Screamin' Eagle Twin Cam engine, full custom paint and virtually every component was upgraded.
Highlights of the CVO model include a long list of chrome parts which include the upgraded rims, rotors, pulley, 1.
25 bars with internal wires, risers, fuel tank console, air cleaner cover, derby cover, strut covers, fork stem covers, levers, mirrors, shift linkage, floor boards, pegs, axle covers, pivot bolt covers, head bolt covers, voltage regulator, front spoiler, license plate bracket, switch housing covers, master cylinders and master cylinder covers.
Other notable upgrades include the Stage I air-cleaner, high-performance clutch, clear coated stainless steel cables, the security system and a handlebar mounted tachometer.
This particular example was optioned in a custom Candy Cobalt and Starlight Black paint scheme.
It has been upgraded with floor board mounted H-D highway pegs, a LED headlight, turn signals and a taillight that flashes when you press it.
It also has a Crusher performance exhaust that sounds just plain nasty when you get into it.
It currently has 14,282 original miles and is in stunning condition.
It has been serviced regularly and everything works as it should.
