Vehicle Description The Corvair is a compact car manufactured by Chevrolet from 1960 - 1969.
To date it is still the only American designed, mass produced, passenger car with a rear-mounted, air-cooled engine.
This particular example retains its original 145 ci 6 cylinder engine and four-speed synchromesh manual transmission.
It is nicely optioned with a long list of factory options which include the air cleaners, posi rear end, laminated glass, heater / defroster, 2 speed wipers, AM radio (not working), round exterior mirrors, chrome bumpers, chrome hubcaps and white wall tires.
It was repainted in its original color of Ermine White in 2010 and it still shows like new.
The Aqua interior is completely original and shows unbelievably well for its age.
This is a 2 family (3 owner car) that has been pampered its entire life and currently has 63,428 original miles.
Included with your purchase are the original owner's manual, keys and owner protection plan booklet showing the original owner, as well as the original selling dealer both of which are from OH.
The original owner sold it in 2013 at which time it was relocated from OH to IL.
Additionally there is an original 1963 OH license plate included as shown in the pix.
Considering the car's overall condition and owner history, we would classify this as a very strong #2 car and would appraise it at $13,450.
