Vehicle Description The Firebird was designed as a Pony car to compete with the early Mustangs and was produced by Pontiac from 1967 to 2002.
The 4th generation Firebird was sold from 1993-2002 and amplified the aerodynamic styling of its predecessor.

7 Liter V8 (LT-1) and 4L60E automatic transmission with built-in electronic controls, it features performance and normal modes, as well as the Batwing rear spoiler which was exclusive to the GT package in 1994.
