Vehicle Description General Motors redesigned their tuck line for the 1947 model year making them larger, stronger and sleeker than its predecessor.
This generation was referred to as the Advance -Design series and was produced by Chevrolet until 1955.
Equipped with its original 216ci inline 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission this beauty is completely unrestored and extremely original.
John Travolta was vacationing with his wife Kelly Preston in Hawaii back in the late 90's when they came across this diamond in the rough.
Kelly was reminded of a truck her dad had when she was young and John purchased it without her knowing and had it shipped to CA as a surprise.
When he purchased it in 1997 it was believed to have just over 8,000 original miles.
It was kept in California until 2011 when John had it moved to their home in FL.
Although it was titled solely in Kelly's name John signed as her executor after her passing away in July of 2020.
Because of the memories and how much Kelly loved the truck John felt it would be best to sell the truck and ended up selling it to his personal yacht captain who purchased the truck from Kelly's estate in November of 2020.
His yacht captain just traded the truck to us for a Hot Rod which is how we came across it.
It is believed that the current odometer reading of 9,845 represents the original miles on this truck.
The current title does show the actual mileage to be 9,500.
The truck has been recently serviced and runs great.
It has been upgraded with Vintage Air A/C that blows cold, custom headlights and a Custom Autosound stereo which is not currently working.
The Hula Girl on the dash was something Kelly really enjoyed and she personally painted the Hula girl on the tailgate.

Due to its amazing owner history and incredibly low mileage we are increasing that value by one third officially appraising it at $45,353.
